Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership experience required
  • minimum of 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • availability to work various shifts including weekends
  • compliance with state-mandated age requirements for alcohol service where applicable
  • physical ability to stand for entire shift and walk long periods without resting
  • lifting and transferring up to 50 pounds
  • ability to reach and handle objects and tools
  • ability to bend and stoop
  • ability to taste and smell
  • verbal communication skills
  • visual acuity including close, distance, color, peripheral vision and depth perception
  • able to access all restaurant areas including selling floor, stock area, and register

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Recruiting, interviewing, and training employees
  • assigning and directing work

  • addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • coaching and mentoring team members for success

  • assisting team members with job duties as needed
  • building store sales via marketing programs
  • championing sales and suggestive selling
  • maximizing table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meeting and greeting guests while resolving food quality and service issues
  • maintaining efficient operations and cost controls
  • ensuring OSHA, health and safety compliance
  • enforcing safe work behaviors
  • monitoring cleanliness and food quality
  • controlling day-to-day operations including cash control and reviewing financial reports
  • managing food costs through portion control and inventory management
  • controlling labor costs with effective scheduling
  • performing all other duties as assigned
