We are currently seeking a highly self-motivated and energetic individual to join our team in a key leadership role. This position involves overseeing and coordinating all aspects of restaurant operations including planning, organizing, training, and managing staff to meet and exceed our goals in sales, cost control, guest service, food quality, and sanitation standards. The successful candidate will lead by example, ensuring that every member of the team understands and follows the company’s policies and service philosophy. This role is critical in creating a positive and productive work environment that supports both employee development and exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires a hands-on manager who is able to provide friendly, intuitive, and responsive service to guests, ensuring they feel truly welcomed and valued with every visit. Leadership duties include monitoring compliance with all federal, state, local regulations, and health codes, administering employee performance appraisals, managing scheduling and labor costs efficiently, and handling administrative duties promptly and accurately. The individual will also play a key role in marketing and promotional activities to increase the restaurant’s visibility and patronage.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in restaurant or hospitality management preferred
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Able to manage schedules and labor costs
  • Must be energetic and self-motivated

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Familiarity with cash handling and inventory control
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and solve problems efficiently
  • Proficient in scheduling and labor cost management
  • Marketing and promotional experience a plus
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Understand all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs
  • Ensure guests feel welcome and receive responsive, friendly and courteous service
  • Ensure food and products are prepared and served according to recipes, portions, cooking and serving standards
  • Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, facility appearance, sanitation and cleanliness through training and a positive work environment
  • Control cash and receipts by adhering to handling and reconciliation procedures
  • Advise on employment and termination decisions
  • Fill in to maintain guest service and operational efficiency
  • Develop staff in operational, personal and professional areas
  • Prepare required paperwork including forms, reports and schedules
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness and condition through inspections and preventative maintenance
  • Ensure accurate receipt of products and proper delivery procedures
  • Oversee employee performance appraisals and ensure timely completion
  • Schedule staff and labor based on business activity and cost objectives
  • Administer fair and consistent corrective action for policy violations
  • Learn and manage all areas of restaurant operation through training and experience
  • Comply fully with all health, safety, and labor regulations
  • Develop and execute restaurant marketing, advertising and promotional campaigns
  • Be knowledgeable of all managerial duties as detailed in the Managers Manual and unique to the restaurant
