Job Description

Yard House is a vibrant and dynamic restaurant known for its unique blend of great food, classic rock music, and an extensive selection of craft beer. As part of the renowned Darden Family of Restaurants, the largest casual dining company in the world, Yard House offers a welcoming atmosphere that combines high-quality dining experiences with a fun and engaging environment. With over 85 locations nationwide and ambitious growth plans, Yard House is a place where culinary innovation meets a commitment to excellent guest service. The company culture is built around providing a positive quality of life for its employees, ensuring they have a work environment that is both supportive and rewarding.

The role of Restaurant Manager at Yard House is crucial in maintaining the establishment's reputation for consistently delivering epic dining experiences to its guests. Restaurant Managers serve as the ringleaders of their individual restaurant locations, overseeing all day-to-day operations with a focus on quality, efficiency, and team development. This leadership position requires a blend of strong managerial skills, passion for culinary excellence, and a dedication to fostering a workplace that team members are proud to be part of.

As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for leading your teams to success by ensuring smooth operational flows, maintaining high standards of food and service quality, and creating a lively and welcoming ambiance that aligns with Yard House’s distinctive vibe. The role offers competitive compensation ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 per year, along with weekly pay and eligibility for quarterly bonuses. Yard House emphasizes work-life balance by capping work hours at 50 per week and guaranteeing two days off. Employees benefit from paid time off, with up to three weeks available within the first year, as well as immediate eligibility for medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Additional benefits include a 401(k) plan with up to 120% matching on the first 6% of earnings, a company-paid Retirement Plus Benefit contributing 1.5% of eligible salary to your 401(k) account, and an employee stock purchase program offering a 15% discount after one year of service. Beyond financial and health benefits, Yard House offers significant growth opportunities. Nearly all General Managers, Executive Chefs, and Directors of Operations are promoted from within, and a majority of Restaurant Managers have risen through the ranks from team member positions. This upward career mobility provides an inspiring pathway for those eager to build a long-term career in the hospitality industry.

Joining Yard House means being part of a culture that values passion, leadership, and a commitment to both guest and team member satisfaction. If you have management experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant environment, strong leadership abilities, and a deep dedication to culinary excellence and guest service, this role is an exceptional opportunity to further your career in an exciting and supportive setting.
