Job Description

Cracker Barrel is a renowned American restaurant and retail chain that has been serving guests with warmth and hospitality since 1969. With hundreds of stores spread across multiple states and a team of more than 70,000 employees nationwide, Cracker Barrel has built a reputation as a place where people gather not just for delicious food but also for a comforting and memorable experience. Known for its homestyle cooking, inviting atmosphere, and unique retail offerings, Cracker Barrel continues to foster a culture rooted in care and community, making it a standout destination for both guests and team members.

At Cracker Barrel, the role of the Restaurant Associate Manager is integral to continuing this tradition of goodwill and excellent service. This position merges a passion for leadership with concrete skills in restaurant management to ensure that every guest and employee experience is exceptional. As a Restaurant Associate Manager, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing both front-of-house and back-of-house operations, balancing the dynamic needs of delivery, customer satisfaction, and team engagement. With strong support from the home office 24/7, you will always have the resources necessary to succeed in your role.

This is a full-time position that demands a dedication of roughly 50 hours per week, typically spread across five 10-hour shifts, including holidays and weekends as business needs dictate. It is a hands-on, leadership role where you will act as a people leader, mentor, and operational expert. Cracker Barrel emphasizes the importance of caring for employees as well as guests, making this role as much about fostering positive workplace culture and team growth as it is about managing day-to-day restaurant functions.

Working here offers more than just a job; it presents opportunities for personal development and career advancement. Managers receive thorough training and ongoing support to model exemplary behavior and service standards that reflect Cracker Barrel’s values. Many have found long-term career paths within the company, often advancing to General Manager or District Manager roles. The commitment to employee care is reflected in comprehensive benefits available from day one, competitive compensation, and multiple channels for professional growth and well-being.

This role is ideal for experienced restaurant professionals who value hospitality and leadership, seek a supportive and engaging work environment, and aspire to grow within a respected and steadily expanding organization. Joining Cracker Barrel means becoming part of a community that prioritizes making moments that matter, both big and small, and takes pride in doing so together. If you have the right experience, the willingness to work hard, and a caring attitude, Cracker Barrel invites you to pursue the career you crave and become part of a company where you truly belong.
