Job Description

Olive Garden is a renowned Italian dining restaurant chain that has become a staple across the United States and Canada with more than 870 locations. Recognized for its warm and welcoming ambiance, Olive Garden focuses on delivering authentic Italian cuisine and an exceptional dining experience. As part of the Darden Restaurants family, Olive Garden prides itself on fostering a culture of inclusion and support where every team member is seen as part of the family. The company emphasizes employee well-being, work-life balance, and career growth, making it a preferred choice for hospitality professionals aiming to build a rewarding career in restaurant management.

Olive Garden is currently seeking motivated and dynamic Restaurant Managers to join their winning family. This role is pivotal in maintaining the high standards of guest service, food quality, and overall operational excellence that Olive Garden is known for. Restaurant Managers at Olive Garden report directly to the General Manager and are responsible for leading and inspiring their teams to deliver outstanding service with a passion for hospitality. The role requires a people-focused and results-oriented leader who can take initiative and build strong relationships within their team and with guests. This position offers a balance between responsibility and flexibility, with managers consistently working no more than 50 hours per week and enjoying two days off per week, including one weekend off per month. Competitive base salaries with quarterly bonus eligibility make this an attractive opportunity.

The company supports its managers with extensive training and development programs to foster career advancement. Nearly all General Managers and Directors of Operations at Olive Garden have been promoted from within, showcasing the commitment to employee growth. Additional benefits such as tuition reimbursement and student loan assistance further strengthen the company's investment in its team members' futures. Olive Garden also promotes a safe working environment, rigorously aligning Covid-19 protocols with CDC guidelines to ensure the health and safety of guests, team members, and leaders.

Olive Garden offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes immediate eligibility for medical, dental, and vision insurance, company-paid short-term disability and life insurance, and discounts at over 100,000 merchants, covering items ranging from cell phones to clothing. After one year of service, additional benefits such as a robust 401(k) plan with generous matching, retirement contributions, and an employee stock purchase program become available, offering long-term financial security to their managers. Moreover, Olive Garden actively supports local communities through significant food donations to fight hunger and substantial grants to assist team members in times of emergency, reinforcing the company’s core value of family and community support.

Joining Olive Garden as a Restaurant Manager means becoming part of a company that not only values professional excellence but also prioritizes your quality of life and career development. If you are passionate about hospitality, leadership, and community engagement, this is an exceptional opportunity to grow within a respected brand known for its family-centric culture. At Olive Garden, "We’re All Family Here!"
