Job Description

Raising Cane's is a well-known fast-food restaurant chain specializing in delicious chicken finger meals. Renowned for its commitment to quality food and exceptional customer service, Raising Cane's has established a strong presence in the fast-food industry, creating a unique culture that emphasizes teamwork, operational excellence, and a customer-first approach. With multiple locations across various regions, Raising Cane's continues to expand while maintaining its core values and standards. The company prides itself on creating an environment where employees are empowered to deliver great food and outstanding service in a fast-paced, energetic atmosphere.

The Restaurant Manager role at Raising Cane's is a pivotal position designed to support the Restaurant Leader in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant. This role is crucial in upholding Raising Cane's standards and culture, especially in managing shifts and operational responsibilities. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be active in a bustling kitchen environment that demands physical stamina due to extended periods of walking, standing, lifting, and bending, as well as regular interaction with customers. The job environment encompasses both indoor and outdoor settings, sometimes under varying temperature conditions, and includes working safely around food products, common allergens, industrial kitchen equipment, and commercial cleaning products that require the use of personal protective equipment.

The primary purpose of the Restaurant Manager position is to ensure that all aspects of the restaurant’s operations meet Raising Cane's high standards during each shift. You will act as the manager on duty, responsible for opening and closing the restaurant, managing cash handling with full accountability, and enforcing company policies and safety standards. Executing effective shift management meetings is also part of the role, alongside using designated tools, forms, and logs to monitor and document operational performance and taking corrective action when necessary.

In this leadership role, you will direct and guide crewmembers throughout the shift, ensuring exemplary customer service is consistently delivered. Part of your responsibilities includes utilizing the company’s reward and recognition program to motivate team members and authorize employee-related functions such as discounts, promotions, and timeclock overrides that require managerial approval. Maintaining the cleanliness and operational efficiency of the restaurant facility is also a key duty, alongside performing any additional tasks assigned to support the smooth running of the restaurant.

This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $22 to $24, reflecting the level of responsibility and expertise required. Working at Raising Cane's as a Restaurant Manager provides a dynamic and rewarding environment where leadership skills, operational knowledge, and a passion for customer service are highly valued. If you thrive in a fast-paced setting and enjoy leading a team to achieve operational excellence, this role offers an excellent opportunity to grow within a respected and growing restaurant brand.
