The role of Manager at Bonefish Grill is a critical leadership position that oversees the day-to-day operations of both front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) functions. With limited supervision, the Manager ensures that the restaurant maintains its exceptional appearance and presentation, while also delivering a superior customer experience. This role demands a balance of operational expertise and people management skills to inspire and lead the team effectively.
Key responsibilities of the Manager include managing staffing levels through scheduling, recruiting, interviewing, and hiring while upholding the high employment standards associated with the Bonefish Grill brand. The Manager plays an active role in mentoring and supporting the career development of hourly team members, helping them to achieve their full potential within the company. Ensuring the safety of employees and guests is paramount, and the Manager is responsible for implementing robust security protocols in the restaurant.
Compliance with operational, safety, sanitation standards, company policies, and local and federal laws is strictly maintained under the Manager's supervision. This includes meeting all health inspection requirements and ensuring that the entire restaurant operates efficiently and safely. The Manager also takes charge of responding to guest feedback and fostering customer loyalty by modeling outstanding service standards.
Moreover, the Manager must have a comprehensive knowledge of the full menu and preparation standards to support the team and enhance the guest experience. Job Requirements
- One year previous restaurant management experience
- Must be able and willing to work a flexible schedule
- Minimum age 21 years
Job Qualifications
- One year previous restaurant management experience
- Certification in food safety preferred
- Willingness to relocate within the assigned region preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred
Job Duties
- Assist with staffing levels by scheduling, recruiting, interviewing, and hiring while maintaining high employment quality standards aligned with the Bonefish Grill brand
- Actively participate in the career growth of hourly team members
- Implement effective security protocols to always ensure the ongoing safety of both our employees and guests
- Comply with operational, safety and sanitation standards, company policies, federal, state, local laws, and ordinances
- all health inspections meet required state standards
- Respond to guest comments and build loyalty while setting the service standard for the restaurant
- Have a working knowledge of entire menu and preparation standards
