Known for its welcoming environment and Italian-inspired cuisine, Olive Garden has established itself as a leading brand with over 870 locations across the U.S. and Canada. The company is deeply dedicated to fostering a supportive and balanced work life for its employees, reflected in its commitment to quality of life, comprehensive benefits, and career advancement opportunities. Olive Garden takes pride in its inclusive culture, promoting acceptance, support, and strength among its team members. Their motto, "We're All Family Here!", truly symbolizes their dedication to creating a nurturing and collaborative environment.
The position of Restaurant Manager at Olive Garden is a vital leadership role reporting directly to the General Manager. This role requires a dynamic individual who is initiative-driven, people-focused, and results-oriented. As a Restaurant Manager, you will lead your team with passion for exceptional customer service and a strong desire to succeed. This role offers a remarkable work-life balance with restaurant managers typically working no more than 50 hours per week, receiving two days off and usually enjoying one weekend off monthly. Olive Garden supports its managers with flexible schedules, up to three weeks of paid vacation and flex time within the first year, and access to an Employee Assistance Program to help maintain work-life balance.
The company prioritizes the safety of its guests, team members, and managers, strictly adhering to CDC guidelines for Covid-19 protocols. Olive Garden's benefits package for Restaurant Managers includes competitive base salaries with quarterly bonus eligibility, immediate access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, company-paid short-term disability and life insurance, and an array of discounts covering cell phones, daycare, clothes, and much more. After one year of service, managers gain eligibility for a 401(k) with a company match up to 120% on the first 6% of earnings, company-paid Retirement Plus contributions, and participation in the Darden Employee Stock Purchase program at a 15% discount.
Career growth is a significant focus at Olive Garden, with more than 99% of General Managers and Directors of Operations coming from internal promotions. The company offers considerable ongoing training and development programs, tuition reimbursement, and student loan assistance to help restaurant managers and general managers advance their careers in hospitality. Additionally, Olive Garden is highly involved in local communities, donating millions of pounds of food for hunger relief and providing substantial grants through its emergency assistance fund.
This role is perfect for individuals excited to lead with a people-centered approach and looking for a company that values family, community, and career growth. Join Olive Garden as a Restaurant Manager and become part of a winning family that supports your professional ambitions and personal well-being.
