Job Description

Olive Garden is a premier restaurant chain known for offering high-quality Italian-American cuisine in a warm and inviting atmosphere. With over 870 restaurants throughout the United States and Canada, Olive Garden has built a reputation for exceptional guest experiences and a commitment to hospitality excellence. The company places great value on its team members, cultivating a family-oriented work environment where employees feel supported, valued, and empowered to grow their careers. Olive Garden is dedicated to fostering a culture of inclusion, continuous learning, and employee well-being, which is evident through its comprehensive benefits and development programs.

Olive Garden is currently seeking passionate and driven Restaurant Managers to join their winning family. This full-time role offers variable pay dependent on location, combining a competitive base salary with quarterly bonus opportunities. Restaurant Managers at Olive Garden are essential leaders who play a critical role in delivering outstanding dining experiences. They oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, lead and develop team members, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. This position emphasizes a people-focused leadership style, encouraging managers to create a positive workplace culture that prioritizes service, teamwork, and career growth.

Restaurant Managers are expected to work a balanced schedule, typically not exceeding 50 hours per week, and benefit from two days off weekly along with one weekend off per month. This schedule supports quality of life and work-life balance, reflecting Olive Garden’s commitment to taking care of its team. Additional perks include up to three weeks of paid vacation and flex time within the first year, paid maternity and paternity leave, adoption reimbursement assistance, and paid time off to care for family members after one year of service.

Career advancement is a significant priority at Olive Garden. With a strong emphasis on internal promotion, 99% of General Managers and Directors of Operations come from within the company. Restaurant Managers receive continuous, specific training and development opportunities to enhance their hospitality skills and leadership capabilities. Olive Garden even offers tuition reimbursement and student loan assistance to support further education.

Beyond career growth and benefits, employees enjoy weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package that includes immediate eligibility for medical, dental, and vision insurance, company-paid short-term disability and life insurance, and access to discounts with thousands of merchants. After one year of service, additional retirement benefits become available, including a 401(k) company match and a retirement contribution benefit. Team members can also participate in an employee stock purchase program at a discounted rate, further enhancing financial well-being.

Olive Garden is deeply committed to giving back to the communities it serves. The company has donated millions of pounds of food to hunger relief initiatives, provided substantial emergency assistance funds to team members, and contributed millions to food banks nationwide. The health and safety of guests and employees remain a top priority with ongoing alignment to COVID-19 safety protocols based on CDC guidelines.

In this role, Restaurant Managers report directly to the General Manager and are responsible for taking initiative, leading with a passion for service, and fostering strong relationships with their team. They must be results-oriented and people-focused leaders who share Olive Garden’s core values of acceptance, support, and strength within a family-like workplace culture. If you are looking to join a company where your leadership can make a meaningful impact and where your work-life balance is respected, Olive Garden offers a promising career path with significant benefits and community involvement opportunities. Apply today to become part of the Olive Garden family where "We're All Family Here!"
