Job Description

Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers is a pioneering fast-food restaurant brand specializing in chicken finger meals. Known widely for its signature product, Raising Cane's has earned a loyal customer base and is rapidly expanding across the United States. The company prides itself on a culture that blends hard work with enjoyment, encapsulated in its philosophy of "Work Hard. Have Fun." Raising Cane's is recognized as the fastest-growing chicken concept and is on its way to becoming one of the top 10 restaurant brands nationwide. This growth trajectory reflects not only the popularity of its menu but the strength of its team-based approach and enduring commitment to quality and service.

At Raising Cane's, every crewmember plays a vital role in the company's success. The company fosters an inclusive and dynamic work environment where employees are encouraged to grow professionally and personally. With a commitment to offering competitive wages and a variety of benefits, Raising Cane's demonstrates its dedication to maintaining a supportive workplace where team members are valued and recognized.

The position of Restaurant Manager at Raising Cane's offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a thriving brand that combines passion, performance, and culture. This full-time role offers an initial hiring pay starting at $21.25 per hour plus a monthly bonus, emphasizing the company’s investment in its leaders. Restaurant Managers are pivotal in supporting the Restaurant Leader by managing daily operations and maintaining Raising Cane's high standards throughout the restaurant during their shifts.

The role involves a hands-on approach in a fast-paced kitchen and dining environment. Managers are expected to oversee multiple areas, including cash handling, shift management, staff coordination, customer service excellence, and upholding cleanliness and operational standards. The physical demands include extended periods of walking, standing, lifting, and bending while working in environments with varying temperatures, exposure to food allergens, and commercial cleaning chemicals requiring safety precautions.

The Restaurant Manager acts as the manager on duty, handling the opening and closing of the restaurant and ensuring that all policies and procedures are tightly followed. Their leadership directly influences employee morale through the use of reward and recognition programs, and they play a critical role in approving employee functions such as discounts and timeclock overrides. Raising Cane's encourages a culture of accountability, performance, and mutual respect, which the manager helps to cultivate every day.

In addition to operational duties, managers are supported by a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, and pharmacy insurance; flexible spending accounts for healthcare and dependent care; life and disability insurance; critical illness and accident coverage; and retirement planning resources including a 401(k) with employer match for eligible employees. Raising Cane's also offers additional perks such as a gym membership program, tuition reimbursement to support education, pet insurance, and employee assistance programs.

Work-life balance is respected with paid time off, sick leave, eight paid holidays, weekly pay, casual work attire, and early closure for company events, helping create an enjoyable and rewarding working atmosphere. Managers are empowered with the tools and resources necessary to lead effectively and contribute to the continued success and growth of Raising Cane's.

Joining Raising Cane's as a Restaurant Manager means becoming part of a vibrant community that values leadership, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence. It offers a career path with opportunities for advancement in a role that is both challenging and rewarding, set within a brand that is recognized and loved nationwide.
