The role of Restaurant Manager at Hooters of America is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing various areas within restaurant operations. This includes managing hospitality, guest satisfaction, safety, cleanliness, drink presentation, and overall atmosphere to ensure every customer enjoys an unforgettable experience. The Restaurant Manager supports the General Manager by ensuring that all operations run efficiently and comply with company policies and standards. A key part of the role involves working closely with vendors and suppliers, ensuring they are properly compensated and meeting the business needs.

Additionally, the Restaurant Manager plays a crucial role in selecting and developing both Front of House and Back of House employees, emphasizing strong leadership, training, and development programs to empower employees to be successful. Managing the performance of all hourly employees, particularly those in guest-facing roles, is essential to maintaining the high standards Hooters is known for. The position demands involvement in general business administration activities including payroll, human resources, marketing, and financial reporting to help achieve the restaurant's performance goals.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 plus years of restaurant management experience
  • completed food safety/sanitation training
  • minimum age of 21 years
  • valid ServSafe alcohol certification or equivalent
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • legal eligibility to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED
  • minimum 2 years full service restaurant management experience in a complex fast-paced environment
  • food safety and sanitation training completion
  • must be 21 years or older
  • basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • strong organizational and planning skills
  • strong operational skills in customer service
  • effective coaching and leadership abilities
  • intermediate math skills
  • excellent oral and written communication skills
  • ability to build relationships at all levels

Job Duties
