Job Description

Chuy's is a vibrant and beloved restaurant chain that has been serving authentic, made-from-scratch Tex-Mex cuisine since its founding in 1982 in Austin, Texas. Known for its eclectic atmosphere full of lively colors, unique décor such as hand-carved wooden fish "swimming" from the ceiling, and shiny hubcaps adorning booths, Chuy's offers more than just a meal—it's an experience that combines great food with a fun and engaging environment. This well-established restaurant brand prides itself on its commitment to fresh, never frozen food and a culture that values teamwork, spirited service, and guest satisfaction. At Chuy's, employees are not just staff members; they are part of a dynamic and diverse community that enjoys a casual work atmosphere and plentiful opportunities for growth and career advancement.

Chuy's is currently hiring experienced Restaurant Managers who are hands-on, hardworking, and fun-loving individuals passionate about the restaurant business. This role is full-time, with compensation varying by location, offering a competitive salary alongside a comprehensive benefits package. Restaurant Managers at Chuy's play a critical role in ensuring effective and smooth daily operations of their venues. Managers are responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant management, including team member training and development, maintaining food quality and safety standards, and delivering the exceptional guest experience that Chuy's is famous for. They must lead by example, inspire their teams, and foster a positive working environment that aligns with Chuy's vibrant culture.

The Restaurant Manager position requires a balance of leadership skills, operational expertise, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume dining setting. To succeed, candidates should have prior management experience in full-service restaurants with scratch kitchens, demonstrating familiarity with food safety and sanitation laws as well as alcohol service regulations. Furthermore, these managers are results-driven, team-oriented individuals who can maintain a strong sense of urgency while ensuring every guest leaves satisfied. At Chuy's, managers enjoy leadership and career development opportunities, as the company actively promotes from within. The role also offers benefits such as casual work attire, employee wellness programs, parental leave, medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid vacation, and a 401(k) plan with employer match, all subject to eligibility.

Joining Chuy's as a Restaurant Manager means becoming part of a brand that values fun, innovation, and exceptional service, all set against the backdrop of genuine Tex-Mex hospitality. The company embraces diversity and encourages its team members to bring their unique personalities into the workplace, making it not just a job, but a place where you can grow professionally and make a true impact. Whether you're passionate about managing a top-rated restaurant or looking to elevate your career in the hospitality industry, Chuy's invites you to come have some fun on their time and become a key player in a fun and fast-growing restaurant family.
