Job Duties
- support the general manager in developing restaurant operating plans supportive of company and market strategies
- plan schedules and analyze staffing needs
- ensure appropriate training and development for all employees
- address changing business demands with discretion
- ensure menu items are prepared and served according to brand standards
- maintain proper inventory levels using correct ordering procedures and efficient usage
- ensure guest satisfaction by directing proper service and cleanliness
- uphold compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations
- maintain facility and equipment through preventive maintenance and safety standards
- embody and promote company values and policies with a focus on safety
- manage controllable expenses including labor, cash, repairs and maintenance, and food costs
- analyze financial reports and assist in developing improvement plans
- monitor local market trends and competitive stance
- assist in implementing local marketing programs
- create and maintain a positive work environment and open communication
- manage employee relations and administer disciplinary actions
- demonstrate strong leadership and flexibility
