Job Description

Cook Out Restaurants is a well-established fast-food restaurant chain known for delivering high-quality, delicious fast food in a vibrant and fast-paced environment. Founded with a commitment to customer satisfaction and community involvement, Cook Out has grown into a popular dining destination with numerous locations. The company prides itself on fostering a culture of teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement. Employees are valued for their dedication and are supported through competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and career development opportunities. Cook Out is widely recognized not just for its tasty food offerings but also for its commitment to maintaining a safe, efficient, and welcoming atmosphere for both customers and staff.

We are currently seeking an experienced Restaurant Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to our operations, ensuring that all kitchen and facility equipment runs smoothly to keep the restaurant environment safe, clean, and fully operational. The position offers competitive pay along with attractive sign-on bonuses of $500 and $1,000, paid after the completion of a required employment period. This full-time position involves servicing multiple restaurant locations, managing essential equipment such as shake machines, refrigeration systems including walk-in coolers and freezers, HVAC systems, and even kitchen-side hot equipment. The role requires a proactive technician who is not only skilled in repairing mechanical and refrigeration components but who also embraces a tech-forward approach to work by using company tablets to track maintenance requests and document job completions accurately.

Joining the Cook Out Maintenance Team means being part of a close-knit group that works collaboratively with Service Area Managers, office personnel, and store leadership to maintain top facility standards. The maintenance technician plays a critical role in inspecting and repairing facilities, ensuring equipment reliability, and ultimately supporting the company’s mission to deliver excellent service and food quality without interruption. In addition to the technical responsibilities, the role offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, company-paid life insurance, 401k matching up to 4% after one year, paid vacation and holidays, and additional earning opportunities such as overtime pay, on-call and weekend bonuses, daily meals, and a company work van which can be taken home when on call. This position is ideal for a maintenance professional who values job security, professional growth, and the chance to be part of a leading restaurant brand dedicated to excellence and employee welfare.
