As part of this dynamic team, the Restaurant Lounge Attendant plays a vital role in delivering an exemplary dining and beverage experience tailored to the unique needs of the residence's discerning clientele. The successful candidate will expertly serve beverages and meals, possess in-depth knowledge of the menu and wines, communicate effectively with residents, and provide attentive service that reflects genuine hospitality.

Additionally, the role involves a variety of responsibilities such as managing dining area setups, utilizing digital tools for sales and communication, ensuring cleanliness and presentation, responding promptly to emergencies or incidents, and collaborating closely with management to resolve any issues smoothly.   • 1-2 years food and beverage serving and/or related food and beverage experience

Job Duties

  • Offer residents an enjoyable, expertly served beverage/dining experience conforming to Four Seasons standards of excellence for quality, professionalism, and friendliness
  • Anticipate and service of residents’ requirements before requests are necessary
  • Serve and clear food and beverage items in an unobtrusive and professional manner
  • Utilize a "Captain's Pad" correctly and for the sake of communication
  • Complete opening and closing side work as assigned and have all tables set according to standard
  • Present menus and explanations for all menu items as well as specials of the day
  • Present children’s menus, when appropriate, and describe specials and alternative cuisine
  • Offer suggestions for alternatives upon resident request
  • Utilize the computer system ringing up sales, printing checks, closing checks, and completing closing readings
  • Carry trays, bus, and reset tables with linen, china, glass, and silver
  • Ascertain a guest's satisfaction and handle any problem which may arise informing a manager of the problem and how it was resolved
  • Report any accident immediately, no matter how minor, to a manager
  • Respond properly in any building emergency or safety situation
  • Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by management and staff
