Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience as a line cook preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to follow health and safety standards
- Strong communication skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working as a line cook, especially in fast-casual or similar restaurant environments preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions accurately
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively
- Willingness to participate in training and cross-training programs
Job Duties
- Prepare food items for the hot side stations, including Bowls, Carve/Grill, Soup, and Braise
- Ensure all dishes are made according to Urban Plates’ recipes and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen hot side area
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs
- Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating stock as needed
- Follow all health and safety protocols in food handling and kitchen operations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely food service and guest satisfaction
