The Global Ambassador is a distinguished and internationally inspired hotel situated at the intersection of Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Paradise Valley. This 141-room hotel is a passion project originating from hospitality innovator Sam Fox and represents the latest addition to the Author & Edit portfolio, a collection curated with a global mindset yet deeply connected to its local surroundings. The role within The Global Ambassador's culinary team emphasizes the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes that align with the hotel’s culinary standards and global inspiration. Candidates will work in a polished, professional kitchen environment, collaborating closely with the Executive Chef and culinary leadership to execute menus with precision and consistency. Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the workstation, adhering to stringent food safety and sanitation policies, and supporting kitchen operations with daily prep and ingredient management are critical aspects of this position. Effective communication with front-of-house staff and management ensures operational smoothness and a seamless guest experience. The role also involves managing the demands of high-volume service periods while retaining attention to detail and quality in every dish served. This position is ideal for culinary professionals passionate about hospitality, eager to contribute to an internationally respected establishment, and thrive in a collaborative, detail-oriented kitchen environment.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience as a cook in a restaurant
  • solid understanding of food safety, sanitation, and professional kitchen practices
  • strong teamwork, communication, and ability to follow instructions while multitasking
  • ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • passion for creating exceptional dishes and delivering an elevated guest experience
  • proof of eligibility to work in the United States
