This role involves working in the heart of Eataly’s bustling open kitchens, where culinary creativity and precision are essential. The Line Cook is responsible for a variety of culinary tasks, including portioning, cutting, slicing, dipping, battering, breading, whipping, beating, maintaining holding temperatures, frying, and sautéing. This position requires expertise in selecting the finest cuts of meat, poultry, shellfish, fish, game, or vegetables, which are then expertly prepared and plated with appropriate garnishes to meet Eataly's high standards. The Line Cook must diligently follow recipes, adhere to portion sizes, and maintain quality standards while complying with departmental rules and Department of Health regulations. Reporting directly to the Sous Chef Manager or Chef de Cuisine, this role demands a blend of skill, speed, and attention to detail in a high-volume cooking environment.

Job Requirements
- Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting
- Ability to work with commercial equipment including stand mixers, ovens, torches, etc.
