Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a kitchen or restaurant line cook role preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to follow recipes and presentation guidelines accurately
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate and perform as part of a team
  • Ability to memorize and replicate recipe and menu item production procedures
  • Physical stamina to stand working for up to 10 hours
  • Capability of meeting deadlines and production goals with limited supervision
  • Comfortable working in environments with temperature changes
  • Ability to handle stressful situations positively
  • ServSafe or food handlers certification is a plus but can be obtained after starting

Job Duties

  • Adhering to all food safety and workplace sanitation requirements
  • Ensuring every item on station is produced to exact recipe and plating specifications
  • Meeting daily productivity standards as established by Kitchen Management
  • Setting up station with sufficient product and utensils and preparing cooking and food holding equipment for meal service
  • Prioritizing cooking and preparation times of each order to ensure timely delivery of guest meals
  • Adjusting ingredients and menu item preparation standards to accommodate guest special requests
  • Cleaning work stations, equipment, and utensils and maintaining an organized food storage area at the end of shifts
  • Executing all responsibilities with proactive teamwork and cooperation
  • Completing all duties and sidework to standard at the end of shifts
  • Performing additional tasks and projects as assigned
