Job Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
- physical ability to stand for long periods and perform kitchen tasks
- reliable and punctual
- must be able to work well in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous cooking or kitchen experience is desirable but not required
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
- ability to follow recipes and portion control standards
- good communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties
- Prepares cooking items
- reports to work well-groomed in clean and proper uniform and practices good personal hygiene
- uses, maintains and cleans all kitchen equipment and preparation and storage areas
- stocks and rotates products on the line to ensure freshness
- prepares menu items following company recipes, portioning, and quality standards
- ensures food cost control by accurately portioning and utilizing FIFO standards
- maintains cleanliness of kitchen, prep areas, coolers and storage areas
- follows food safety, sanitation, OSHA and health department standards
- conducts line sweeps and cleans equipment throughout shift
- communicates with management and coworkers regarding product, service and safety issues
- assists dishwasher and front of house staff with tasks
- provides guest service by cooperating with front of house staff
