The Restaurant Leader (Manager) Trainee role at 7-Eleven is designed for individuals passionate about restaurant management and customer service excellence. This position provides an immersive training experience within the market, preparing trainees for store management roles across various locations post-training. Candidates with prior supervisory experience in restaurant settings will find a supportive environment focused on developing management skills and leadership abilities. Successful completion of the training program equips trainees with the expertise needed to manage day-to-day restaurant operations effectively, including overseeing customer service, employee training and coaching, inventory and merchandising, as well as ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Communication and interpersonal skills are emphasized to foster positive store culture and enhance customer satisfaction. Technological proficiency, especially with Microsoft Office tools, is considered a plus for handling reports and analyzing store performance indicators such as profit and loss (P&L) statements.

This role suits individuals seeking to grow their careers in restaurant management within a leading retail brand that values dedication and hard work. 7-Eleven’s approach to leadership development is built on real-world training combined with continuous support and incentives, such as monthly bonuses, to motivate performance. Trainees are expected to maintain high standards of operational control and contribute to staff retention through hiring and empowering capable team members. The position demands a degree of physical activity including multi-tasking, bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds. 7-Eleven prides itself on being an equal opportunity employer committed to workplace diversity, offering a dynamic and supportive work environment for professionals aspiring to lead in the restaurant and retail convenience sectors.
