The company empowers its employees to 'activate awesome' by making meaningful impacts in their stores and communities every day. A strong culture of growth, leadership, and opportunity drives the success of 7-Eleven, making it a premier workplace for those looking to build rewarding careers in the convenience retail sector.

The Restaurant Manager role at 7-Eleven is designed for individuals who enjoy working as part of a restaurant management team and have prior supervisory experience. This position, often entered through the Restaurant Leader Trainee program, provides a pathway for passionate individuals ready to grow and lead. Many of the company’s top managers began their careers in entry-level roles such as cashiers or part-timers seeking additional income, and through dedication, training, and learning the intricacies of the business, they have risen to management positions within the company. This progression highlights 7-Eleven’s commitment to promoting from within and fostering career development.

As a Restaurant Manager at 7-Eleven, you will be responsible for leading a team by providing customer service leadership, training, and coaching to all restaurant employees. You will focus on maintaining high employee retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing future leaders, empowering staff, and encouraging productivity. Your role will also include overseeing restaurant operations to ensure compliance with company policies, Health Department standards, and merchandising and marketing programs. Utilizing profit and loss statements and store reports, you will make informed decisions that positively impact store performance. Excellent oral and written communication skills, proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel, and strong interpersonal abilities are essential for success in this role.

The position does require physical stamina, including the ability to multitask, perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. A High School diploma or GED is preferred; however, candidates with at least one year of restaurant management experience may also qualify. The pay range for this role is $27.00 to $30.00 per hour, reflecting 7-Eleven’s commitment to providing competitive compensation. Moreover, the company offers a comprehensive benefits package to support employee well-being and growth.

7-Eleven is an Equal Opportunity Employer dedicated to workplace diversity and committed to providing an inclusive environment where all employees can thrive. The company also ensures compliance with applicable legal standards such as the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring.
