This job opportunity is offered by an independent franchisee who owns a McDonald’s restaurant. Unlike McDonald’s corporate entities, this franchisee operates as a separate company and employer. They have acquired a license to use McDonald’s logos, food products, and trademarks to run the restaurant independently. It is important to note that while the restaurant carries the McDonald’s brand appearance and menu, all employment-related matters including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling are managed solely by this franchisee and not by McDonald’s USA. Job Requirements
- must be 18 years or older
- prior experience managing high volume restaurant locations
- ability to work flexible hours
- strong leadership and organizational skills
- effective communication abilities
- ability to recruit and develop management staff
Job Qualifications
- previous general manager experience running high volume locations
- background in quick service restaurants preferred
- experience in hospitality or retail is a plus
- ability to lead and develop teams
- strong leadership and communication skills
- must be 18 years or older
Job Duties
- run a profitable restaurant and ensure high standards of quality service and cleanliness
- set restaurant goals and create plans to achieve them
- lead and coach a team of department managers
- help department managers set and meet their goals
- provide coaching and direction to improve department performance
- hire and develop department and shift managers
- manage staffing and scheduling
