Full-time Restaurant Managers at Raising Cane's enjoy a competitive annual pay package starting from $70,000 to $90,000, with additional monthly training incentives of $1,500 and further monthly incentives tied to restaurant profitability. Your Role at Raising Cane's as a Restaurant Leader is a high-impact management position responsible for the overall strategic direction and operational success of your restaurant. This role requires a leader who is both passionate about people development and dedicated to achieving sales and profit growth. As the face of Raising Cane's culture standards, you will be responsible for teaching, modeling, and upholding these standards across all crewmembers, customers, and partners to ensure the brand’s promise is consistently delivered. This role involves hands-on leadership within a fast-paced kitchen environment, including physical activity such as walking, standing, lifting, and bending over extended periods. It also involves managing interactions with customers, working inside the kitchen, and handling various elements like food products, allergens, industrial equipment, and cleaning products that require the appropriate use of personal protective equipment. You will be accountable for financial oversight including forecasting and budgeting, ensuring compliance with company policies and governmental laws, hiring and managing the restaurant leadership team, directing crewmember scheduling and training, managing daily operations such as cash handling and opening and closing procedures, and continuously monitoring the restaurant’s profit and loss statements. The Restaurant Leader must also ensure the restaurant maintains cleanliness and operational standards, meet or exceed performance metrics, and foster a positive and safe work environment. Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 5+ years of restaurant or retail management experience
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends
  • Able to travel as needed for work-related functions and training
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Self-driven and energetic
  • Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively

Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years of restaurant or retail management experience
  • New restaurant opening and local restaurant marketing experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred
  • Possess a valid driver’s license

Job Duties

  • Ensure overall financial success of the restaurant and responsible for forecasting and budgeting
  • Ensure overall restaurant compliance with company standards, policies and laws
  • Hire and terminate management-level crewmembers including status change and payroll process
  • Create crewmember work and training schedules
  • Develop management-level crewmembers including performance management
  • Act as manager on duty, open and close the restaurant, manage cash handling
  • Monitor profit and loss statements, develop and execute strategy in all areas of financial and operational performance
  • Enforce Raising Cane's policies and standards
  • Use required tools, forms and logs to support shift execution, document results and take corrective action when needed
  • Deploy crewmembers during a shift and provide exemplary customer service
  • Utilize reward and recognition program for crewmembers
  • Authorize employee functions requiring manager approval such as discounts and timeclock overrides
  • Ensure cleanliness of the restaurant and ensure the facility is in good working order
  • Achieve and maintain training restaurant status
  • Achieve 'meets expectations' or better metrics in all crewmember and operations performance metrics
  • Complete other duties as assigned
