This opportunity is for a Restaurant Leader role within Raising Cane's, offering a starting salary beginning at $60,000 annually alongside attractive monthly training incentives. The pay scale takes into account various factors such as geographic location, experience, and qualifications. As a Restaurant Leader at Raising Cane’s, you will play a pivotal role in strategically steering the restaurant’s operations to ensure financial success and maintain compliance with company standards and legal requirements. Your leadership will be essential in driving sales growth, managing budgets, and fostering employee development through coaching and performance management. The role demands hands-on management, including hiring and training management-level staff, schedule creation, cash handling, and opening and closing duties. You will be responsible for upholding Raising Cane's culture standards among the team and modeling exemplary customer service practices.

The restaurant environment requires working in a fast-paced kitchen setting involving physical exertion such as standing, walking, lifting, and bending, often in varied weather conditions. Collaborating closely with crewmembers, you will maintain cleanliness, oversee facility operations, and implement company policies consistently. The Restaurant Leader also ensures the restaurant’s training status is maintained and meets or exceeds various operational and performance benchmarks. Job Requirements

  • must be 18 years of age or older
  • high school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred
  • five plus years of restaurant or retail management experience
  • valid driver's license
  • able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends
  • able to travel as needed for work-related functions and training
  • able to work effectively independently and collaboratively
  • able to manage multiple priorities
  • proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook

Job Qualifications

  • five plus years of restaurant or retail management experience
  • new restaurant opening and local restaurant marketing experience preferred
  • high school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred
  • valid driver's license
  • proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
  • self-driven and flexible
  • able to work independently and collaboratively
  • able to recognize problems, set goals, create plans and convert plans into action
  • able to measure performance with high emotional intelligence
  • able to manage public dealings professionally consistent with company policies

Job Duties

  • ensure overall financial success of the restaurant and responsible for forecasting and budgeting
  • ensure overall restaurant compliance to company standards, policies and laws
  • hire and terminate management-level crewmembers including status change and payroll process
  • create crewmember work and training schedules
  • develop management-level crewmembers including performance management
  • act as manager on duty, open and close the restaurant, manage cash handling
  • monitor profit and loss statements, develop and execute strategy in all areas of financial and operational performance
  • enforce Raising Cane's policies and standards
  • use required tools, forms and logs to support shift execution, document results and take corrective action when needed
  • deploy crewmembers during a shift and provide exemplary customer service
  • utilize reward and recognition program for the crewmembers in the restaurant
  • authorize employee functions requiring manager approval
  • ensure cleanliness of the restaurant and ensure the facility is in good working order
  • achieve and maintain training restaurant status
  • achieve meets expectations or better metrics in all crewmember and operations performance metrics
  • complete other duties as assigned
