Job Description

Red Robin is a renowned high-volume, full-service restaurant distinguished by its laid-back atmosphere and uniquely quirky vibe. As a beloved brand, Red Robin has carved a niche for itself in the casual dining sector with an emphasis on burgers beyond imagination and a commitment to providing an exceptional guest experience. The company values a sense of belonging, embracing both similarities and differences among its diverse team members and guests alike. Known for its magnetic personalities and unbridled energy, Red Robin fosters a fun and engaging environment where connection, fun, and generosity flow as freely as their world-famous steak fries. This thriving restaurant concept extends excellent growth opportunities for those passionate about hospitality and culinary excellence.

The Restaurant Kitchen Manager role at Red Robin entails overseeing seamless day-to-day kitchen operations with a strong dedication to quality and guest satisfaction. As a brand ambassador, the Kitchen Manager upholds Red Robin's high standards by emphasizing scratch cooking, crafting unique artisanal American food and gourmet burgers that resonate with the brand's identity. This position holds critical responsibility for inventory management, ordering, and key profit and loss (P&L) lines, ensuring the restaurant's financial success and operational efficiency. The Kitchen Manager leads by example, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and embracing a 'better for being here' mentality to inspire and motivate their team.

The role is designed for individuals with strong leadership skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a passion for developing a dedicated team committed to delivering excellence in execution, hospitality, and service. Candidates must be at least 21 years old, have a minimum of two years' management experience, and be available to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. Reliable transportation and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word are required. The candidate should demonstrate strong P&L knowledge and the ability to obtain necessary certifications or permits as mandated by state or local laws. Experience with Workday, Aloha, NBO, and Hotschedules is preferred, alongside knowledge of local and state health codes.

Additionally, this role offers an attractive compensation range from $55,000 to $68,800 annually, with opportunities to share in the restaurant's financial success through an uncapped bonus program. Other incentives include referral bonuses for recruiting new team members, free shift meals and a 50% discount on Red Robin food for family members, and guaranteed closures on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Employees at Red Robin also enjoy excellent opportunities for career advancement within the company. The establishment provides comprehensive benefits, including health, vision, dental, life, accident, critical illness, and hospital indemnity coverage, along with a 401k retirement plan featuring a company match of up to 4% of pay. Paid parental leave and paid time off accruing at a rate of 0.03846 hours per hour worked are additional perks that promote employee well-being and work-life balance.

Red Robin cultivates a culture of unbridled hospitality and is committed to equal employment opportunities, encouraging individuals who share their passion to apply and become part of a dynamic and vibrant team. This leadership role offers the chance to contribute significantly to a brand that values innovation, inclusivity, and culinary excellence in the casual dining industry.
