Job Description

Red Robin is a distinguished high-volume, full-service restaurant renowned for its laid-back atmosphere and uniquely quirky vibe. Unlike typical burger joints, Red Robin offers a vibrant team culture energized by passion for fun, connection, and exceptional hospitality. As an organization, Red Robin places a strong emphasis on growth opportunities for employees and strives to inspire guests with their signature burgers that go beyond "yumagination." Central to the company’s values is a sense of belonging and inclusivity, welcoming diversity and embracing differences to create an environment where everyone feels welcome. Red Robin is not only about great food but also about fostering community and delivering generous, memorable experiences for every guest.

The position of Restaurant Kitchen Manager at Red Robin is a critical role focused on ensuring seamless daily kitchen operations with a commitment to excellence. The Kitchen Manager acts as a brand ambassador, upholding the company's high standards by driving scratch cooking, crafting unique artisanal American dishes, and delivering gourmet burgers that define the dining experience. This individual is responsible for managing key operations including inventory control, ordering processes, and overseeing important profit and loss (P&L) lines that directly influence the restaurant’s financial success. Beyond operational duties, the Kitchen Manager fosters a culture of continuous improvement and motivates the team with a 'better for being here' mentality.

This role offers a competitive compensation range between $55,000 and $68,800 annually with an uncapped bonus program that allows the Kitchen Manager to share in the financial success of the restaurant. Additional incentives include referral bonuses for recruiting new team members, complimentary shift meals, and a 50% discount on Red Robin food for family members. The restaurant closes on Thanksgiving and Christmas, providing valued holiday breaks, and offers excellent opportunities for career growth within the company. The Kitchen Manager position is designed for dynamic leaders who possess strong communication and leadership skills, can inspire and develop a passionate team dedicated to execution, hospitality, and service excellence, and have a solid understanding of profit and loss management. By joining Red Robin, the Kitchen Manager contributes to a work environment that celebrates creativity in the kitchen, teamwork, and the shared mission to deliver outstanding guest experiences every day.
