Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years experience in a lead cook or similar role at a high-volume restaurant or hotel kitchen
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • ability to manage inventory and ordering
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • culinary degree or certificate preferred
  • 3-5 years experience as a lead cook or in a similar role in a high-volume kitchen
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation
  • knowledge of food safety practices
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • lead and supervise kitchen staff in food preparation and presentation
  • collaborate with executive chef and sous chef to develop new menu items
  • ensure consistent quality and taste in all dishes
  • manage inventory and order ingredients as needed
  • maintain compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • train and mentor junior cooks
  • manage kitchen operations during assigned shifts
