The role of Host / To-Go Specialist is central to the guest experience at this restaurant. In this position, you act as the first and last point of contact for all guests whether they are dining in or picking up takeout orders. Your responsibilities involve a unique combination of hosting duties, takeout order management, and customer service excellence. You will greet guests warmly as they arrive, manage the waitlist and reservations, and efficiently seat them to ensure smooth dining flow. On the takeout side, you will prepare and package orders accurately and quickly, making certain every item, utensil, and sauce is included before handing the orders to guests. The role requires effective handling of phone inquiries, answering questions, and taking orders reliably. The host stand and the pickup areas must be kept clean and organized at all times to facilitate a welcoming environment and operational efficiency.
