Job Description

The Ritz-Carlton, located in Clayton, Missouri, is part of Marriott International’s prestigious portfolio of luxury hospitality brands. Renowned globally for exceptional service and elegant accommodations, The Ritz-Carlton has set the gold standard in luxury hospitality for decades. With over 100 award-winning properties worldwide, The Ritz-Carlton prides itself on creating memorable and unique experiences that guests cherish long after their stay. The company is dedicated to fostering a culture that values diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity, welcoming employees from diverse backgrounds to contribute their unique talents and perspectives. This approach not only enriches the work environment but also enhances the quality of service delivered to guests.

The role of Guest Service Support Expert at The Ritz-Carlton is integral to maintaining the smooth operation of food and beverage services within the hotel. This full-time, non-management position requires flexibility in shift work, including weekends and holidays, to meet the dynamic needs of the hospitality industry. The Guest Service Support Expert plays a crucial role in ensuring that every interaction with guests is wrapped in the gold standard of service that defines The Ritz-Carlton brand. Responsibilities for this role range from setting tables and assisting kitchen operations to maintaining cleanliness and replenishing supplies. These duties collectively support a seamless guest experience where food and drink service complements the luxury environment.

Employees in this position are expected to maintain a professional appearance and attitude, adhering strictly to company policies and quality standards. Physical stamina is essential as the role requires extended periods of standing, walking, and performing manual tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects. The ability to manage menu knowledge and adapt hands-on to various work demands is equally important. The Ritz-Carlton emphasizes that each task, whether minor or major, contributes to the overarching guest experience and the hotel's reputation for excellence.

The company invests in its employees by promoting learning and exemplification of the Gold Standards, including the Employee Promise, Credo, and Service Values. These core principles encourage creativity, thoughtfulness, and compassion in every aspect of work, fostering a sense of pride and belonging among team members. While no prior supervisory experience is necessary, previous experience in the food and beverage sector is preferred but not mandatory, making this a suitable opportunity for individuals entering the hospitality field or looking to grow within a world-class luxury hotel environment.

Being part of The Ritz-Carlton means joining a global team dedicated to delivering unparalleled guest service and pursuing personal and professional growth. The company’s commitment to equal employment opportunity ensures that every employee can thrive in an inclusive workplace free from discrimination. As a Guest Service Support Expert, you will not only contribute to memorable guest experiences but also be part of a tradition of excellence that has shaped luxury hospitality worldwide. This role offers a combination of personal satisfaction and professional development within a globally respected brand, making it an exceptional career opportunity.
