We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Hosts or Hostesses, with opportunities available for both full-time and part-time employment. This role is a pivotal part of delivering outstanding customer service by managing the flow of guests within the restaurant efficiently and courteously. The position offers competitive pay ranging from $15.50 to $18.50 per hour, depending on experience, with flexible scheduling, paid on-the-job training, and numerous advancement opportunities.

As a Host or Hostess at P.F. Chang's, you will be the first friendly face guests see, responsible for creating a warm, professional impression from the moment they enter until they leave. Your role will involve greeting guests, managing reservations, accurately quoting wait times during busy periods, and responding to any inquiries with a positive and helpful attitude. You will be crucial in maintaining high standards of safety and sanitation in the lobby and near the entrance, as well as overseeing crowd control to ensure a smooth operation.

The role also involves mastering the restaurant's seating layout and understanding how server sections are managed to effectively coordinate guest seating and optimize flow. Additional responsibilities include supporting curbside pickup and takeout services and assisting with side work duties as necessary during each shift.

Job Duties

  • Engage with guests courteously by answering phones, greeting guests, seating guests, taking reservations, and processing food orders
  • Maintain high safety and sanitation standards at the front door, host desk, lobby area, and manage crowd control effectively

  • Set and clear tables efficiently according to P.F. Chang's standards
