This job opportunity is for the role of a Host/Hostess within one of Nordstrom’s restaurant divisions. The Host/Hostess position is pivotal in ensuring guests receive a welcoming, efficient, and pleasant experience from the moment they enter the dining establishment. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, friendly, and consistently focused on delivering outstanding customer service. Key responsibilities include greeting and seating customers quickly and professionally, sharing knowledge about the restaurant’s menu and products to enhance the guest experience, and assisting in training new employees by providing positive reinforcement and support. Additionally, the Host/Hostess will support other restaurant operations, assisting with tasks such as answering telephones, handling financial transactions, stocking supplies, cleaning, and completing necessary documentation.

This role requires flexibility with working hours and schedules, which may change weekly based on business needs. A food handler’s card may be required depending on local and state regulations. The hourly pay range for this position is between $16.05 and $16.70, with offers varying by location, knowledge, skills, and experience.
