Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge of OpenTable platform
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work autonomously

Physical ability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift up to 35 pounds

Job Duties

Maintain presence at host stand/door to greet and seat customers professionally and graciously
Monitor server performance to ensure smooth service during customers’ dining experience
Observe proper telephone etiquette
Handle reservations through OpenTable platform including VIPs and respond to inquiries about hours, specials, and events
Organize reservations, maximize seating during operating hours, optimize staffing and customer traffic
Adhere to established accounting procedures including all authorized payment methods and maintain knowledge of POS system
Keep flow of service to standards such as proper seating of customers to each wait station
Participate in daily pre-shift meetings
Fulfill duties involving lifting objects like tables, chairs, and highchairs
Maintain cleanliness and presentability of menus and menu covers
Maintain highest level of hygiene standards including clean uniforms and professional grooming
Adhere to posted work schedule and follow procedures for schedule and shift changes
