We are currently seeking a Part-Time Restaurant Host to join the dynamic team at FIRE Restaurant and Lounge. This role is ideal for someone enthusiastic about delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced setting, particularly on weekends and holidays. The position offers an hourly wage ranging from $19.29 to $20.29, with employment opportunities continuing until the position is filled, and a deadline for applications set for July 8, 2026. The Restaurant Host is the essential first point of contact for guests, responsible for warmly welcoming and greeting visitors, managing the reservation system, coordinating seating arrangements to ensure efficient floor flow, and handling guest inquiries and special requests with professionalism and care. The role demands strong communication skills, an ability to multitask, and a team-focused attitude. The host will work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to provide a seamless dining experience that exceeds guest expectations. Additionally, the role includes maintaining a clean, organized host stand and entrance area, assisting with light bussing or table resetting when necessary, and addressing any guest concerns promptly and courteously.
This opportunity not only offers competitive pay but also a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance; a 401(k) plan with company match; same-day pay; flexible spending accounts; paid vacation, personal days, and holiday pay; exclusive hotel, food, and beverage discounts for personal travel; online training and professional development opportunities through Commonwealth University; and additional support through an Employee Assistance Program and various leaves such as jury duty and bereavement. The ideal candidate should possess a high school diploma or GED, effective English communication skills, a professional and approachable demeanor, and a willingness to support a team-oriented workplace. Prior supervisory experience and knowledge of food and wine pairing are considered valuable assets. As part of Commonwealth Hotels, a respected hospitality management company founded in 1986 and recognized for exceptional guest satisfaction and a world-class culture, this role offers the chance to contribute to shaping the hospitality future in Denver while enjoying strong support and growth potential within the company.
