The Host position plays a crucial role as the first point of contact for guests, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a seamless dining experience. Job Duties
- greet and seat restaurant guests warmly and professionally
- manage restaurant reservations via OpenTable and phone
- respond courteously to guest and staff inquiries and issues
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station
- assist servers with silverware preparation
- follow lost and found procedures strictly
- provide menu advice and suggestions to guests
- keep current on resort activities and special events
- take to-go food orders for walk-up and call-in customers
- offer warm and sincere welcomes and farewells using guest names and good eye contact
