Job Description

The Ned and Ned's Club represent an exclusive collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants that cater to like-minded individuals seeking exceptional environments to meet, work, and unwind. Since opening The Ned in London in 2017, the company has expanded internationally and proudly introduced Ned's Club in Washington DC, its fourth and latest location. This prestigious club is housed within the historic Riggs Building, a neoclassical architectural gem located near the White House and the US Treasury. The site boasts a luxurious setting including a rooftop terrace, the Loft Restaurant with panoramic views of prominent landmarks such as the Washington Monument, and several distinctive rooms designed to cater to members' varied preferences.

The Ned's Club Washington DC offers its members and guests a uniquely refined hospitality experience. Central to delivering this experience is the role of the Restaurant Host. This is a pivotal position that combines the art of warm welcome with the efficiency of managing members' needs. Restaurant Hosts embody the first smiling faces that greet members, setting the tone and ambiance for the entire visit. They are responsible for creating an inviting environment, handling reservation inquiries, collaborating with membership relations teams, and ensuring that every guest interaction is positive and memorable. Building rapport with members is crucial; hosts learn and log members' preferences, facilitating personalized and extraordinary service during each visit.

This full-time hourly position offers a competitive wage of $22.00 per hour and is ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality and delivering impeccable customer experiences in a prestigious setting. Restaurant Hosts are required to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, primarily from 3:00 PM to midnight or 1:00 AM. The role demands stamina, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to maintain composure under pressure while interacting with high-profile guests who value discretion.

Joining The Ned means becoming part of one of the most outstanding hospitality teams. Beyond providing excellent customer service, the Restaurant Host plays an essential part in the club's operation by passing critical member information to management and service teams, contributing significantly to the seamless execution of exceptional hospitality. The Ned offers a supportive work environment with a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, actively fostering a workplace where every employee can thrive. Additionally, the company provides extensive employee benefits and career development opportunities to help team members grow both personally and professionally.
