The role of the Restaurant Leader at Raising Cane's is pivotal, responsible for steering the strategic direction of the restaurant while ensuring operational standards are consistently met. This leadership role involves managing all aspects of restaurant functions, from people development to financial performance. The Restaurant Leader is tasked with fostering the Raising Cane's culture within their team, modeling behaviors, and upholding standards that reflect the brand's values to crewmembers, customers, and business partners alike. They play a critical role in hiring, training, and terminating management-level staff while managing payroll and scheduling. Performance management and development of the management team are key components, ensuring the restaurant meets high standards of operational and crewmember performance. The Restaurant Leader acts as the manager on duty and is responsible for opening and closing the restaurant, handling cash, and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations. Maintaining cleanliness, facilitating training, and using rewards programs to motivate staff are also important aspects of the role. Achieving and maintaining training restaurant status and meeting performance metrics will be indicators of success in this position. Alongside these core duties, the Restaurant Leader may be assigned additional tasks that contribute to the overall growth and smooth functioning of the restaurant.
