We are currently seeking a highly motivated and capable Head Coach to join our team. This leadership role is integral to advancing our team’s performance by managing every aspect of shift operations with precision and enthusiasm. The Head Coach will play a hands-on role in ensuring that every shift runs smoothly by preparing and empowering the team to deliver exceptional service even during busy periods. This includes overseeing food production to meet strict sanitation and quality standards, mentoring staff, managing recruitment and training, handling HR duties such as payroll and discipline, and maintaining clean and well-organized workspaces.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or an equivalent credential, with additional coursework or training in restaurant management preferred. A college degree in Hospitality, Food Service Management, or a related field is highly advantageous. At least one year of experience in the restaurant industry is required, preferably with previous management experience in hospitality, food service, or customer service roles. Strong communication skills in English, excellent time management, and a professional demeanor in dress, speech, and behavior are essential qualities. The Head Coach will be expected to lead by example, frequently moving around the restaurant to interact with staff and customers, ensuring that all team members are performing their duties efficiently and effectively.
This role also demands physical stamina, as much of the typical 10-hour shift will involve standing or walking. The ability to lift up to 30 pounds is necessary, and must be ready to perform any employee task during training or staffing shortages. Candidates must have reliable transportation as responsibilities may include making bank deposits, delivering orders, or running errands. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency diploma
- some additional coursework or training in restaurant management preferred
- at least one year of restaurant experience
- previous management experience in hospitality food service or customer service preferred
- fluent English speaking and written communication skills
- good time management skills

Job Qualifications
- Current retail or restaurant manager experience
- ability to work days nights and weekends as necessary

- capable of performing any duty of any employee while training or while covering staffing needs
- must have transportation to make bank deposits deliver orders or run errands as needed

Job Duties
- Oversees production of food according to sanitation and quality standards
- manages and mentors staff including recruiting hiring training of all employees overseeing HR payroll managing issues of discipline termination ensuring ongoing training education
- manages supplies and ensures orderly work areas
- ensures that work areas are clean and that equipment tools and supplies are properly stored
- ensures compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and all company policies
- provides timely and accurate reports as required
- addresses customer concerns and issues
- ensures stated goals are met
