CyHawk Hospitality, Inc. is a reputable franchisee operator managing Perkins Restaurant locations with a significant presence in the Sioux Falls market. Founded in 2007, CyHawk has expanded impressively over the years and currently owns and operates 21 Perkins restaurants. The General Manager Designate position at CyHawk Hospitality offers an exciting leadership opportunity within the full-service restaurant segment. This role is designed as a transitional management position reporting directly to the current restaurant General Manager in Sioux Falls with the ultimate goal of advancement into a full General Manager role. As a General Manager Designate, the candidate will perform essential managerial responsibilities aligned with Perkins Restaurant system standards and operational procedures. The position demands a strong work ethic, leadership capabilities, and a hands-on approach to daily restaurant operations.
The role requires weekend availability and typically involves a 50-hour workweek, reflecting the dynamic and demanding nature of the restaurant industry. With a competitive salary starting at $60,000 per year plus performance bonuses, CyHawk also offers a comprehensive benefits package including two weeks of paid vacation, health, dental, life, and disability insurance. Additionally, the company observes closures on Christmas Day, underscoring its attention to work-life balance.
This management role involves overseeing the complete operations of the restaurant, managing sales and profitability goals, enforcing company policies, and ensuring a consistently excellent guest experience. The General Manager Designate will supervise unit management staff directly and oversee frontline employees, guaranteeing high performance, compliance with safety and sanitation standards, and delivery of superior customer service. Emphasis is placed on personal leadership qualities such as sound judgment, problem-solving abilities, passion for food and beverage service including liquor, beer, and wine, and the capacity to motivate and guide teams towards shared objectives.
Candidates are expected to demonstrate proactive leadership by anticipating challenges, resolving conflicts, and maintaining transparency in communication. Key responsibilities include managing labor schedules, overseeing inventory control, ensuring the quality and presentation of menu items, conducting preventive maintenance, and monitoring financial reports related to payroll, costs, and expenses. The role also demands active participation in regional meetings and contributions to strategic operational initiatives.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum five years of full-service restaurant management experience
- willingness to work weekends and 50-hour workweeks
- ability to perform and assist in all restaurant functions
- pass background check including felony convictions

- strong leadership and decision-making skills
