The General Manager at Salata is responsible for managing, training, and scheduling all restaurant staff, making staffing decisions, resolving employee issues, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Candidates must have at least one year of restaurant management experience, be skilled in hiring, training, and financial management, and demonstrate an ability to manage labor costs through effective scheduling and staff oversight. Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year restaurant management experience
  • No more than two jobs in the last five years
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Management experience of at least 1 year
  • Proficient in English
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs

Job Duties

  • Represent the company in a professional manner at all times
  • Must have open availability and be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Resolve employee issues including shift call-outs according to company policy
  • Generate weekly schedule to control labor cost
  • Collect and account for all money transactions on a daily basis
  • Coordinate bank deposits, daily invoicing, and all other paperwork
  • Review employment applications, recruit, interview, hire, and train all new employees
  • Recommend the promotion and/or termination of employees
  • Conduct all performance management duties including written and verbal staff evaluations and corrective actions
  • Coordinate all store food orders accurately and completely based on company goals
  • Observe all personnel at the beginning and throughout their shift for compliance with appearance and uniform policies, customer service expectations, quality control, and company standards
  • Stand on feet for prolonged periods
  • Lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  • Perform any and all other duties assigned or requested
