The company fosters a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and accountability, ensuring that every team member feels valued and motivated. As part of its commitment to excellence, the company adheres to all regulatory guidelines, food safety standards, and employment laws, ensuring both guests and employees enjoy a safe and welcoming environment. This establishment operates with integrity, transparency, and a strong community-oriented approach, positioning itself as a leader in the highly competitive restaurant industry.
The role of Restaurant General Manager (RGM) is a pivotal leadership position within the company. The RGM is primarily responsible for overseeing the entire restaurant's operations and fiscal performance. This entails managing all aspects of the restaurant's day-to-day functioning including guest services, employee relations, financial management, and ensuring adherence to company standards and government regulations. The successful candidate will be accountable for providing excellent operations management by delivering outstanding guest satisfaction, maintaining product integrity, and securing company assets including cash, equipment, and inventory. As part of the leadership team, the RGM will recruit, train, and develop highly successful assistant managers, shift managers, and team members, ensuring the restaurant operates efficiently and profitably.
The Restaurant General Manager leads by example to create a motivating work environment that fosters employee engagement and development while ensuring compliance with all company policies and labor laws. Responsibilities include conducting timely performance reviews, utilizing constructive discipline and employee feedback, maintaining communication throughout all shifts, and resolving work-related issues promptly. The RGM is also responsible for the financial stewardship of the restaurant, managing labor costs, food and supply inventory, conducting audits, and safeguarding company assets with integrity. Operational excellence is emphasized through adherence to health and safety codes, preventative maintenance, and cleanliness standards.
Moreover, the RGM plays a critical customer-facing role, ensuring that guest experience meets or exceeds company standards. The manager will implement company marketing initiatives and optimize labor shifts based on business traffic patterns. The RGM must build strong relationships with the restaurant team, management, vendors, and customers to protect the brand's integrity and foster loyalty within the community. This role requires a proactive, analytical, and collaborative leader who can manage multiple priorities efficiently and maintain high morale within the team. The Restaurant General Manager position requires a minimum of three years of restaurant management experience with P&L responsibility, a high school diploma or equivalent, and food safety certification. Preferred candidates will have advanced studies in business or restaurant management and demonstrate effective organizational and management skills. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required for positions involving business driving.
