The Restaurant General Manager (RGM) at KFC plays a pivotal role in driving the overall success of the restaurant. This leadership position is responsible for managing all aspects of the restaurant's daily operations, including food preparation, safety, cleanliness, guest service, and team development. The RGM leads by example, fostering a positive culture and ensuring strict adherence to company policies, such as professional appearance and uniform standards. They are accountable for achieving sales and profit targets by effectively managing financial controls like labor and food costs. Additionally, the RGM is tasked with ensuring compliance with local health regulations and maintaining a restaurant that is always inspection-ready. The role requires strong communication skills, as the RGM regularly coordinates with the Area Coach and leads team meetings to align on goals and share updates. This position requires a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, active car insurance, and basic computer skills. The incumbent must also pass all Restaurant Operations Compliance and Certification (ROCC) evaluations consistently and be willing to relocate if business needs necessitate. Ultimately, the Restaurant General Manager is a key driver of guest satisfaction and operational excellence, ensuring that each guest experiences friendly, efficient service and high-quality meals in a clean and safe environment. Job Duties

  • Lead restaurant team to achieve sales and profit goals
  • Manage daily restaurant operations including food preparation, service, safety, and cleanliness
  • Recruit, train, and develop shift supervisors and team members
  • Control labor, food cost, and controllable expenses
  • Complete accurate reports including sales, inventory, and cash handling
  • Ensure exceptional guest service and address feedback
  • Enforce safety, sanitation, and security procedures
  • Communicate daily with Area Coach
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings and performance reviews
  • Implement marketing promotions
  • Maintain compliance with KFC and health standards
  • Drive upselling initiatives to increase sales
