This job opening for a General Manager at the Goodyear, Arizona location offers a full-time position ideal for dynamic leaders passionate about hospitality and operational excellence. The General Manager will spearhead the restaurant’s day-to-day operations, overseeing teams, financial management, and customer service standards to maintain Shake Shack’s renowned quality and hospitality. Key responsibilities include leading and coaching team members, managing inventory, ensuring safety compliance, and striving for financial targets and profitability. This role also involves enforcing health and safety codes per company and local regulations, managing schedules and payroll, and actively promoting the brand within the community through events and word-of-mouth. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience managing a high-volume restaurant environment and a strong skill set in personnel management, financial oversight, training, and leadership. Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of restaurant general management experience in a high volume, fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of restaurant operations including personnel management, food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation and health codes, and security
  • Ability to learn and train others on all aspects of Shack operations
  • Demonstrated ability to champion hospitality and motivate team members
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on coaching and achieving excellence
  • Knowledgeable in all financial aspects of business operations
  • Minimum 3 years of P&L responsibilities
  • Food handler certification preferred
  • Willingness to work flexible hours
