The current opening at the Renaissance Indianapolis North Hotel is for a restaurant manager position on the second shift. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless daily operations of the hotel’s restaurant. The manager will oversee dining services, reservations, and guest interactions, ensuring that guests receive high-quality food and beverage offerings alongside outstanding customer service. The position requires a hands-on manager who can coordinate effectively between kitchen, bar, and front-of-house teams to maintain excellent service flow. Responsibilities extend to maintaining strict compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations as well as liquor licensing laws. The role also involves monitoring inventory, controlling labor costs, and implementing strategies to boost guest satisfaction and repeat business.

They will also be tasked with supervising and mentoring restaurant staff, including servers, hosts, bartenders, bussers, and In-Room Dining attendants. The ability to handle guest inquiries or complaints with professionalism and efficiency is crucial. Additionally, the manager will collaborate with the sales and culinary teams to develop innovative promotions, seasonal menus, and themed events designed to attract new patrons and enhance the overall guest experience.
This is a full-time role requiring availability on weekends, including Saturdays and Sundays, which is essential to meet business needs during peak times. The offered salary range is between $65,000 and $70,000 per year, alongside additional incentives such as a $500 sign-on bonus, paid partially after 30 days and 90 days of employment. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
- 3-5 years of restaurant management experience
- Experience with POS systems and restaurant management software preferred
- Ability to multitask problem solve and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
