Job Description

Our company is a well-established and reputable leader in the fast-food restaurant industry, committed to delivering high-quality dining experiences through exceptional customer service, innovative operational practices, and a dedicated workforce. We pride ourselves on maintaining rigorous standards in food safety, product quality, and customer satisfaction, ensuring that every customer enjoys a memorable visit to our restaurant locations. As a customer-centric organization, we place great emphasis on creating positive work environments that motivate and support our employees while driving operational excellence and profitability.

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Area Coach (AC) to join our leadership team. This supervisory role is pivotal to the success of multiple restaurant locations within a designated region and involves direct supervision of Associate General Managers, Shift Managers, and hourly crew members. The Area Coach will play a crucial role in enforcing operational standards, driving financial performance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and outstanding customer service.

In this role, the Area Coach will be responsible for implementing the annual operating plan across several restaurants, ensuring that each location meets or exceeds its financial and service goals. This includes driving excellence in customer service by maintaining fast, accurate service and ensuring all products align with the company’s strict quality standards. The Area Coach is also charged with monitoring food safety compliance, training and mentoring management teams and hourly employees, and resolving customer complaints efficiently to enhance the overall guest experience.

Financial stewardship will be a key aspect of the position, as the Area Coach will analyze sales data, labor costs, and controllable expenses to maximize profit margins. They will provide hands-on training in financial management and profitability techniques to subordinate managers and oversee capital expenditure (CAPEX) requests and vendor relations.

Operational oversight also forms a significant part of this role. The Area Coach ensures that all facilities and equipment are maintained to company standards, inventory is managed meticulously, and food preparation processes comply with operational best practices. They will also establish and monitor speed with service (SWS) targets for each restaurant and optimize workforce scheduling to improve efficiency.

The Area Coach will be a key player in human resource management at the restaurant level, responsible for hiring decisions, performance management, compensation, employee relations, and training programs. Developing shift managers and assistant general managers for higher responsibilities and ensuring compliance with workplace regulations are critical responsibilities.

Success in this role is measured by achievement of the annual operating plans, sales growth, margin improvements, customer satisfaction scores, employee development metrics, and effective staffing management. The ideal candidate will be a principled leader with robust business acumen, a passion for customer service, and a proven ability to develop and inspire teams.

This full-time position demands a hands-on leadership style, an assertive attitude in problem-solving, and exceptional communication skills. The Area Coach must effectively lead by example, uphold company values, and contribute to building a positive and productive work environment across multiple restaurant units. This opportunity offers a rewarding career path for a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting and is eager to make a significant impact on restaurant operations and team performance.
