Job Description
The Indigo Road Hospitality Group (IRHG) is a distinguished leader in the restaurant and hospitality industry, known for its heartfelt commitment to creating exceptional dining experiences and fostering a supportive work environment. Since its founding in 2009 by Steve Palmer, IRHG has rapidly expanded, currently operating over 30 locations across diverse concepts, including upscale restaurants and boutique hotels. This company prides itself on treating its team members like family, emphasizing internal growth, staff development, and a culture where hospitality is more than just a job - it is a lifestyle and a passionate journey. IRHG is dedicated to offering generous benefits, advancement opportunities, and a mission to revolutionize hospitality for the betterment of its employees and guests alike.
The role of Restaurant General Manager at IRHG is a prestigious and challenging position designed for an experienced leader passionate about food, hospitality, and community engagement. The ideal candidate brings over five years of proven success running high-volume upscale restaurants (200-300 covers), specializing in food-focused environments that prioritize quality and guest satisfaction. As a Restaurant GM, you will be the ambassador of the brand, responsible for the seamless operation of a full-service restaurant, including overseeing finances, cultivating a thriving team culture, coordinating events, managing vendor relations, and engaging with the local community to source the best ingredients.
This role demands strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and a dedication to fostering both staff development and guest satisfaction. The Restaurant General Manager will lead by example, nurturing a positive workplace ambiance while ensuring the restaurant meets and exceeds its profit and loss (P&L) goals. You will champion the company’s core values by actively participating in community volunteer and charitable initiatives, reinforcing IRHG’s commitment to social responsibility. This position offers competitive compensation, including a base salary with quarterly performance bonuses and PTO after 90 days, comprehensive health and wellness benefits covering medical, dental, and vision, and access to a 401K retirement plan with company matching contributions. Additional perks include employee discounts across multiple IRHG concepts and a zero-interest home loan program to support team members' financial goals.
If you thrive in a dynamic, upscale culinary environment and are motivated by creating unforgettable experiences for guests and team members alike, then this role offers a unique opportunity to advance your career within a supportive and forward-thinking hospitality family. At IRHG, every day is a chance to learn, lead, and impact the future of hospitality with heart.
