Operating with a strong people-first mantra, Border Foods focuses on building a supportive, welcoming environment that fosters the growth and development of its employees—from cooks and cashiers to restaurant managers and beyond. The company culture revolves around core values like Accountability, Integrity, Family, Excellence, Teamwork, and Empowerment, striving to create a place where individuals feel valued, supported, and motivated to excel both personally and professionally. Border Foods is dedicated to making lives better through strong leadership and community involvement. This franchisee opportunity is characterized by its commitment to operational excellence, employee development, and consistent delivery of quality food and service in every restaurant under its umbrella. Currently located in Fort Atkinson, WI, Border Foods is hiring a General Manager for its Taco Bell restaurant who will play a vital role in upholding this mission.

The General Manager position at Border Foods is pivotal, embodying the company’s core values while managing the entire restaurant's operations. This leadership role requires a hands-on approach to creating a safe, inviting, and efficient environment where both team members and guests can thrive. This role involves coaching and mentoring staff, enforcing health and safety standards, driving sales and profit through smart financial management, and fostering a culture of recognition and accountability within the restaurant. With potential earnings up to $100,000 annually including base pay and bonuses, this is a rewarding position for those passionate about people and leadership within the quick service restaurant industry.

Border Foods also offers an exceptional benefits package to General Managers, including medical, dental, and vision insurance even for part-time employees, educational programs such as GED and tuition reimbursement, scholarship opportunities, and paid time off including vacation, sick, and holiday pay. Furthermore, top performers are rewarded annually with a trip to Mexico as part of the company’s 'Best of the Best' incentive. The role requires a committed work schedule, typically a minimum of 50 hours per week with flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. This position offers the opportunity for career advancement within a company that values growth, learning, and empowerment, making it ideal for dedicated leaders eager to make a positive impact in their community and workplace.
