The role we are offering is that of a Restaurant General Manager. This position is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and overall success of a Shake Shack restaurant. The manager will lead, coach, and develop team members, empowering them to deliver exceptional service to guests. Managing inventory, quality, and safety protocols will be a significant part of this role, alongside meeting and exceeding financial and profitability goals by carefully managing budgets. The successful candidate will maintain top-notch standards of excellence and hospitality, implement company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and state health codes, and promote the Shake Shack brand within the local community.

A key aspect of the job includes managing payroll and scheduling, driving sales and profits, and actively participating in restaurant events to strengthen community relations. Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of restaurant general management experience in a high volume, fast-paced environment
  • working knowledge of restaurant operations including personnel management, food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation and health codes, and security
  • ability to learn and train others on all aspects of Shack operations
  • demonstrated ability to champion hospitality and motivate team members
  • strong leadership skills with a focus on coaching and achieving excellence
  • knowledgeable in all financial aspects of business operations
  • minimum 3 years of P&L responsibilities
  • food handler certification preferred
  • willingness to work flexible hours
