The General Manager role at Marco's Pizza is a vital leadership position responsible for driving sales, ensuring quality control, and managing the comprehensive operations of the restaurant. The General Manager oversees the implementation of company processes, customer service standards, and updated policies to maintain a world-class operation characterized by speed, quality, cleanliness, and safety. Additionally, the General Manager is accountable for creating and executing actionable marketing plans designed to boost business performance and achieve weekly key performance indicators (KPIs).

This leadership role also includes managing all human resource aspects, such as scheduling, payroll, benefits administration, and performance reviews, ensuring that operational reporting requirements to the home office are met promptly and accurately. Maintaining security procedures, including deposit verification and safe management, is essential for protecting company assets. The ability to manage up to 20 team members effectively and adapt to a busy schedule that may include weekends is expected.

Job Requirements

  • 3 years of leadership experience
  • 1 year of restaurant experience preferred
  • Ability to lead up to 20 team members
  • Willing to work about 50 hours per week including some Saturdays and Sundays

Job Duties

  • Lead and develop team members to execute outstanding product quality and customer service
  • Build sales and control costs for the restaurant
  • Hire and train all store employees ensuring alignment with company values
  • Manage human resource functions including scheduling, payroll, benefits, performance reviews, and reporting
  • Plan and coordinate leadership team meetings
  • Maintain standards for product quality, service speed, cleanliness, and sanitation
  • Complete and manage inventory and ordering systems
  • Create store action plans including marketing strategies
  • Monitor weekly KPIs and implement plans to achieve goals
  • Ensure maintenance of the store and exterior property
  • Implement security and verification procedures for deposits and safe contents
