The role of Restaurant Manager, also known as Hospitality Captain, is a pivotal position within our operation. This full-time role is designed for someone who is ready to lead with enthusiasm and be part of an energetic team that drives our brand vision forward. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the restaurant's day-to-day operations, ensuring excellence in guest service, team leadership, and financial performance. You will play an integral part in maintaining high standards for food quality, sanitation, and safety while managing and motivating team members to deliver outstanding service.

A key component of this role is leadership development; you will coach, train, and support Team Members during their shifts, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging professional growth. You will also be responsible for handling guest complaints with empathy and professionalism, ensuring that all issues are resolved to enhance guest satisfaction. This position requires a proactive approach to controlling expenses and meeting budgetary goals through smart financial oversight, including optimizing sales and profitability.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or high school equivalency required
  • bachelors degree preferred
  • must possess or be able to obtain a valid manager food safety certification or any other food/alcohol certification as required by state law
  • able to stand for 10 hours and lift at least 50 pounds
  • good hearing for safety and accurate communication
  • must be able to read, write and speak in English
  • must have reliable transportation

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or high school equivalency
  • bachelors degree preferred
  • valid manager food safety certification or ability to obtain one
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • experience in restaurant or hospitality management preferred
  • ability to coach and develop team members
  • knowledge of food safety and liquor laws
  • proficiency in English

Job Duties

  • Being strong brand stewards and ensuring each guest receives excellent service by leading and modeling our 1-4-7 philosophy
  • developing a strong and motivated team through recruitment, communication and training plans
  • identify strategies to retain and develop the best Team Members
  • leading Team Members through coaching, discipline and adherence to the brand standards
  • executing positive financial results, including but not limited to meeting sales goal and optimizing P&L
  • ensuring that restaurant facilities are consistently meeting brand standards
  • being aware of and abiding by food safety practices and liquor service laws, including not overserving guests or serving underage Guests
  • ensuring compliance with all labor regulations
